February 16, 2010 Board Meeting Agenda Item #12 Title APPROVAL OF EXPULSION CASE NO. 10-211 Description The student listed in Expulsion Case No. 10-211, violated School Board Policy 5.34(1)(g), Continuing Misconduct.  It is the recommendation of the Superintendent that the student be expelled from the Sarasota County Schools until January 9 of the 2010-2011 academic year. Recommendation That in accordance with provisions of Sections 1006.07(1)(a)(b), Florida Statutes and School Board Policy 5.34, and the holding of a hearing having been waived by the student/parent, the recommendation as specified in Expulsion Case No. 10-211, to expel the student referenced therein from the Sarasota County Schools, be approved effective immediately for the remainder of the 2009-2010 academic year, the 2010 summer session, until January 9, of the 2010-2011 academic year.
